🌐 Redial in Power Dialer in Talk

In the new PowerDialer, users may want to try to call a customer again after the first call to the contact failed.

When Redial is selected, the contact will be skipped and placed at the bottom of the current session list in order to try calling the contact at a later time.

⚠ A single contact can only be redialed once per session to avoid an infinite loop of redialing. 

💎 HubSpot Contact Owner Removal Logging

Our system will now show a reason why a contact owner was changed from one user to another. This will clear any uncertainties and provide a more transparent view of what is happening between Aloware and HubSpot systems.

With the new Smart Transcription Dashboard, you are able to have an aggregated view of positive/negative calls, keyword analytics and category detection.

We've also made additions to the call panel, where you can now see the percentage of talk time between the contact and the agent.

☎  Call Waiting

Aloware has Call Waiting, which routes an incoming call to a personal line similar to how modern cell phones work. 

Now, when a user is on the phone and Call Waiting is enabled, the incoming call will be on hold until the user decides to, ignore, hang up and answer or park and answer the call.

💲 Long SMS as MMS

Save costs by automatically sending long messages via MMS rather than multiple SMS.

Users can enable this on the account settings, therefore inheriting for all lines, or select individual lines in the line settings.

Aloware has released an exciting new artificially intelligent feature called smart transcription.

🔕 ‘Opt-Out’ as a filter on Contacts Page

Many users may not want to receive texting or SMS, but still want to be contacted about important updates. Therefore, we have added opt-out as a separate option.

Now users can now use Opt-Out and DNC in different filter combinations in the contacts page.

Go to Contacts > Filters > DNC and Opt-Out Options. There each of the options are clearly explained below:

⛔ Enforced TCPA Approval Option

In some industries, it is critical to block any possible communication with customers on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) list. 

Therefore, Admins can go to Account > Contact Settings > ‘Prevent Messaging to Non TCPA Approved Contacts’ Option seen below.

Please note: This setting is extremely restrictive and should not be used in all cases. Please read this article and contact support@aloware.com to understand if TCPA enforcement is right for your business.

In an effort to show the user more details about calls to the user, we’ve added the following information to the communication info.

• Did call answer with Fishing mode? yes/no
• Barge? yes/no
• Whisper? yes/no
• Holder in a queue? yes/no
• If yes to the above, then place in queue before the call hung up will show
• Timestamp of the ring group snapshot

Navigate to a conversation with a call. If you scroll to the bottom, you will find the 'more details' button. Select this to find the below screenshot.

📈 'Not Disposed' Dashboard Filter

‘Not Disposed’ allows users to pull all calls and contacts who were not given a disposition.

Therefore, we added a new filter (Not Disposed) that already existed in the “Contacts” tab, to Communications (in the Dashboard). This way you can easily see what contacts have not been disposed.

📲Warm Transfer to Ring Groups

During a phone call, you may need to add another user to a conversation. But what if you want to randomly assign your call to a ring group? 

You could always perform a warm transfer by clicking 'Add' then selecting a specific user (see below).

Now, after selecting 'Add', you have the option to select a ring group besides adding a specific user (see below).

📞 New Line Type Information

On the Lines Table, you can now see the type of number associated with each phone line. For example, Toll-free or Local (see below).

✅ New Compliance Status in Phone Numbers Table

If you navigate to Lines, then click a specific phone number, you can see the Compliance Met status.

• Renamed Caller ID to Call Mask to prevent confusion with Caller ID (CNAM).

Extensions in IVR

• Extensions will now be listed in descending order.
• Added a reasonable pause between playing each extension information.

Mark Phone Number As Unusable (Wrong Number / Invalid)

There are two scenarios where a contact's phone number can be marked as unusable; the first is through manual flagging. Users or agents can now manually flag a contact's phone number as Wrong Number. The second one is through our carriers. When we message, call, fax, etc. a contact, our carriers might return an error indicating that the number is invalid and in these cases we will automatically flag that number as invalid.

Manual Flagging

To manually flag a phone number as a wrong number, users can check the phone number configuration screen under the contact page by clicking on the edit button next to the phone number. There is now a checkbox where they can flag that number as Wrong Number.

Carrier Flagging

There are multiple scenarios where a contact's phone number can be flagged as invalid but all of them boils down to our carrier returning an error when using their service such as texting, calling, etc.

Note: Phone numbers flagged as invalid cannot be reverted.

When texting a contact and our carrier returns an error, the phone number being used will be automatically flagged as invalid and will not be usable anymore on our texting service.

Prevent Services if Phone Number is Unusable

There are multiple services that a Contact with an unusable phone number is ignored. These services are PowerDialer, Sequences, and Broadcasts. These services will check first if the provided phone number is flagged wrong or invalid, and if so, the contact will get ignored.

Deal & Ticket Based Workflow Support For HubSpot

Aloware now supports Deal & Ticket-based workflows in HubSpot:

HubSpot Deal & Tickets now support the following actions:

• Send message action
• Add to user’s Power Dialer action
• Enroll to a sequence action
• Disenroll Action

Why is this important?

• Sales teams can use deal based work flows to send custom messages based on custom deals
• Example use case - Contact visits auto dealership website and fills out a form to learn more. Using a deal-based workflow, HubSpot can now automatically set the deal status and send out a custom message to the contact.

Added creator type of communication to all Aloware communications as a new property under the communication details page.
